If you own an iPad, and have not been able to upload and watch video files on it, there are many simple iPad help guides you can use, that will help you convert files, and upload videos to iPad so that you can watch them.
Since the iPad runs on different software than traditional pcs, you are going to have to do some convertion, prior to even being able to transferring the videos on to your iPad, before you are going to be able to watch any of the videos you want to watch on the device.
Take a look below for the four Steps how to upload videos to iPad.
#1. Choosing the software
In order to be able to upload a video on to your iPad, you first have to convert the file and video format, in to one that your iPad can read.
The easiest way to determine if a video is compatible is to connect to your computer, and upload iTunes. From there, you are going to be able to see if it will play, if not, convertion is necessary.
The formats that the iPad can read are H.264 and MPEG-4 video files. So, you have to use a convertion software to do the work for you. There are many convertion software programs you can use (Cucusoft iPad converter is one of the many free conversion tools you can use).
You will simply drag and drop the videos that you want to convert, and you will allow the software to do the work for you; there are no steps you have to go through.
You simply drag and drop the videos, and you will soon have them converted to the proper viewing format.
#2. Load & Set
Once the software application is up and running, you simple drop the files in to the main tab. You will click load files, and this will bring up all of the videos you have, you then drag the ones you want to convert and add to your iPad.
You will select an iPad friendly file type, and one of the two formats that can be read by your iPad, so that you can convert the video.
Depending on the length of the video, and the current format that it is in, it can take as little as a couple of minutes, and up to more than 30 minutes to complete the process, although it usually does not take this long to convert a video for your ipad.
#3. Convert & Upload
When you have uploaded all of the videos that you want to convert, in to the control panel of the software, you simply click on the convert button, and allow the program to do the work for you.
The files will be uploaded, and they will then be converted in to the chosen format for you to be able to later watch on your iPad. The process takes only a few minutes, and there is nothing for you to do but wait for the conversion process to complete itself.
Once you finish the conversion, you have to simply upload them to the iPad. You simply connect your device to your pc or your mac, and you will then sync and upload the videos that you have just converted to the proper file type.
You can convert pretty much any file, from DVD movies, to DivX, or MOV files. No matter what the original format was, you can quickly and easily convert, syn, and add the videos that you have converted on to your iPad, within only a few minutes time after you begin the entire process.
Of course the number of steps it will take to complete the process depends on the software that you choose to use, and whether you are using a free software program, or one that you pay for the services.
Either way, it is generally a quick, seamless, and simple process to follow and complete, and should take only a few minutes to complete, regardless of the software you choose.
Depending on the amount of space your iPad has free, you can download a number of videos on it, and depending on whether they are full length movies or shorter videos, you can download a number of files on to your iPad without any limits or problems with free space.
